Just like all other types of business opportunities, there are many different ways you can get involved in this business. You do need special licences and expertise to actually treat water, but if you have that you can start your own bottled water company supplying bottled water to homes and businesses all over the world. This is big business as more and more people are becoming concerned about the impurities in their drinking water.
One way you can get started is to get the training you need to be able to install a water purifying system in a home that purifies the water at the point where it enters the home. The most common system is one that uses reverse osmosis and if you can supply the needs of homeowners at a reasonable price you have the first phase of your business already in place. This is a great job for someone with plumbing experience because you really do need to know about water pipes to do this work.
You can supply bottled water and the dispensing machines to homes and business and provide the delivery service for the water on a weekly basis. Most schools and businesses do have these appliances and welcome the opportunity of having their water delivered to them instead of having to go out and purchase it themselves. This involves supplying grocery store chains with the bottled water that they sell to their customers.
There is also an opportunity for a mail order business in this sector of the economy. When you have an online presence you can take orders for either dispensers or the water or even both and ship the necessary materials to the customer. The orders come in to your computer, even while you sleep and all you have to do is process the orders to make money. You can have the inventory on hand or have it shipped from the bottling company.
